As a new customer to Mathis Bros. Furniture, Jeanne was our Design Consultant. She helped us coordinate and pick new pieces of furniture for our new house. We went in without a clear picture of what we wanted and she helped us paint a picture.

I recently moved to a new city and didn't take any of my furniture from my old place. I thought it was going to be easy just buying some new things for my new home. I went to a local furniture store and was immediately overwhelmed with the choices. I ran into Jeannne while I was wondering around the store. I learned she was an interior designer. I told her what I liked and she listened. Later she came over to my house & took measurements of my space. The next day I met her at the store & she had picked out things for me that I immediately liked. She was amazing! She put together a beautiful space for me, something I could never have done on my own. On the day the furniture was delivered, she came over and worked with the movers in the placement of the new furniture. She took care of the whole job from start to finish and made things very easy for me. I get so many compliments whenever someone comes over to my place. She listened to both of us and was able to guide us through decisions smoothly even when we did not agree with each other. She is extremely conscientious, making sure the furniture size was scaled correctly for the room and made different textures and colors come together perfectly. Even when I questioned an accessory choice, she said try it and if it doesn't work, it can be exchanged. It all worked! Along with her product knowledge, she is also extremely skilled with colors and design.

I recently purchased a home in LaQuinta Ca that was completely unfurnished. I am a single man with not much knowledge of interior decorating .Luckily i was recommended to Jeanne. She was awesome to work with. I told her i didn't want cheap but not real high end either. I learned a lot from her.She took the time to explain why this would work or not work. Project consisted of removal of popcorn ceilings and re-painting entire 2 bedroom condo. Selection and installation of paint, wallpaper, carpeting, and lighting neutral in colors to en-hance a mid-century furniture selection of chartreuse, teal, and shades of blue with asian accents and desert Art. Also the selection of mid-century furniture pieces to coordinate with existing pieces.
